Our Story
What began as a quiet love for tiny, intricate things has grown into Svarci Handicrafts — a small studio where every miniature scene, every paper curl and every stitched figure carries a piece of me. I was drawn to handwork long before I called it a passion: rolling my first quilling strip, shaping my first clay bead, painting my first kolam manai. There is something honest about making by hand. The slowness teaches patience, the repetition teaches reverence, and the finished piece always carries the warmth of the hours spent on it.
So much of what I make comes from the things I grew up around — pongal panai on auspicious mornings, kolam at the doorstep, the warm clutter of a petti kadai, the bright joy of return-gift hampers at weddings and house-warmings. I try to bottle those memories at miniature scale, or fold them into a personalised gift made for someone you love. Every order is treated as one — never mass produced, always given the time it deserves. If you ever wonder whether real care goes into these pieces, the answer is yes — every minute of it, with love.
